WORKSHOP RESEARCH ASSISTANT - INTERNSHIP
We're looking for a detail-oriented, diligent and innovative workshop research assistant to work twice a week to support our diversity, equity and inclusion workshops.
Primary Responsibilities

Conduct literature reviews on current DEI trends (incl. women’s health, anti-racism and mental healthcare), frameworks, and best practices
Curate case studies and real-world examples for workshop materials
Compile statistics and data on diversity metrics across industries
Summarise academic research into accessible workshop content

Maintain organised databases of workshop resources and materials
Track participant feedback and compile assessment reports
Assist with scheduling workshops and coordinating with stakeholders.
Manage shared documents, templates, and resource libraries
Develop resource lists and recommended reading materials
Support follow-up communication with workshop attendees

Develop discussion guides and workshop agendas
Create participant handouts, worksheets, and supplementary materials
Fact-check and edit workshop content for accuracy and inclusivity

Assist with specific DEI initiatives (e.g., anti-racism training, allyship programs, equitable wellbeing practices research)
Support survey design and distribution for DEI assessments
Compile participant feedback and highlight key insights
Any ad hoc tasks
Required Qualifications
✓ Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (within 12 months)
✓ Strong research and writing skills
✓ Familiarity with DEI concepts and terminology
✓ Excellent organisational abilities
✓ Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
✓ Ability to work independently in a remote environment
✓ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
✓ Familiarity with workshop design or adult learning principles
