Supervision terms and conditions.
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the engagement between The Florence and Sylvia Collective a company registered in England and Wales under number 15990273 whose registered office is at Suite 334, 80A Ruskin Ave, Welling, DA16 3QQ; (the Platform or Collective or us or we) and the freelance Therapeutic Supervisor ("Supervisor", "you") providing therapeutic supervision services.
Eligibility to Act as a Supervisor
To be eligible to provide therapeutic supervision services, the Supervisor must:
Hold relevant and current professional qualifications and registrations as required by the applicable professional bodies.
Have adequate experience in therapeutic practice as well as in providing supervision, in accordance with recognised industry standards.
Comply with all applicable ethical codes and professional standards relating to therapeutic supervision.
Maintain any necessary professional indemnity insurance, where applicable.
The Collective reserves the right to verify the Supervisor’s credentials and suitability for the role before engagement and periodically throughout the term of this Agreement.
Scope of Services
The Supervisor will provide therapeutic supervision services to designated supervisees as agreed in writing.
Services shall be delivered professionally, ethically, and in accordance with relevant industry and professional standards.
Supervision sessions and reporting requirements, including frequency and format, will be agreed prior to commencement.
Supervision Contracts with Supervisees
The Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining a written supervision contract with each supervisee.
The supervision contract should outline the scope, goals, frequency, confidentiality terms, responsibilities, reporting, and any other relevant details of the supervisory relationship in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
A copy of each supervision contract should be retained securely by the Supervisor and made available upon request by the Collective.
Booking and Registration of Sessions
Only supervision sessions booked and confirmed through the Collective’s designated platform calendar will be officially recognised, registered, and eligible for payment.
Sessions conducted outside of this booking system will not be considered authorised, and the Collective is not obliged to remunerate for such sessions.
Rates and Fees
Supervisor rates are set by the Collective based on industry standards, supervisory experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
The agreed rates are as follows:

The Collective reserves the right to adjust rates periodically with reasonable prior notice to the Supervisor.
Independent Contractor Status
You are engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee or agent of the Collective.
You are responsible for compliance with all laws, including tax and professional licensing requirements.
Confidentiality
You shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all supervisees, the Collective, and any information disclosed during supervision sessions, except where disclosure is required by law.
This obligation shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
Data Protection
Both parties agree to comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws, including but not limited to the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Supervisor shall:
Process any personal data obtained solely for the purpose of carrying out their supervisory duties.
Implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal and sensitive data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
Not disclose any personal or sensitive data to third parties without prior written consent from the Collective, except where legally required.
Assist the Collective in responding to any data subject requests or breaches related to the supervision services.
Upon termination of the Agreement, the Supervisor shall securely return or destroy any personal data in their possession as instructed by the Collective.
Professional Conduct, Compliance and Responsibilities
Therapists providing supervision must remain in compliance with relevant codes of ethics, and best practice within therapeutic supervision including but not limited to:
Any other regional or national ethical standards applicable to your professional designation.
The above ethical codes must be reviewed periodically to ensure adherence. You shall promptly notify the Collective if any issue arises that may affect your ability to provide supervision services.
Intellectual Property
Any materials or resources you produce specifically for the Collective will be owned by the Collective, unless otherwise agreed.
You retain ownership of your pre-existing methodologies and materials.
Term and Termination
This Agreement begins on the date of acceptance and continues until terminated by either party with 14 days written notice.
Either party may terminate immediately for cause, including breach of professional conduct.
You will be paid for all services rendered up to the termination date.
Liability and Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Collective against any claims arising from your negligent or unlawful acts in providing supervision.
The Collective shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding this engagement.
The Collective reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Collective’s platform or communicated directly to the Supervisor.
Continued provision of supervision services following such amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
By accepting an assignment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
