SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR - INTERNSHIP
We're looking for a creative, diligent and innovative social media content creator to work twice a week to help us ensure The Florence and Sylvia Collective is the name on the lips of anyone seeking culturally competent care.

Design and produce original graphics, videos, carousel posts, and Stories using Canva, and CapCut
Write engaging captions, headlines, and hashtags aligned with brand voice
Create platform-specific content optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Produce short-form video content (Reels, and TikTok videos)
Repurpose and adapt existing content for different platforms

Collaborate on monthly/weekly content calendars
Schedule posts using tools like Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite
Research trending topics, sounds, and hashtags
Brainstorm strategy and campaign ideas with the Creative Business Director
Maintain organised asset libraries and brand guidelines documentation

Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions professionally
Identify and engage with target audience accounts
Build community relationships through authentic interactions
Flag urgent or complex inquiries for senior team members

Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth)
Compile bi-weekly performance reports with key insights
Identify top-performing content and recommend optimisation strategies
Monitor competitor social media activity
Primary Responsibilities
✓ Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (within 12 months)
✓ Passionate about social media marketing and digital trends
✓ Proficiency with Canva and basic video editing (CapCut, iMovie, etc.)
✓ Knowledge of Instagram/TikTok/LinkedIn analytics
✓ Strong written communication and attention to detail
✓ Self-motivated and independent remote worker
✓ Reliable high-speed internet and computer access
✓ Available 2 specific days per week on a consistent schedule
✓ Understanding of social media algorithms and SEO
✓ Experience with video production or photography
